Thank you to Cardinal Leo, ShareLife and Catholic Charities for a grant of $26,000.00 to support the Winter Welcome Table!
The parish received a grant from ShareLife in the amount of $26,000.00 to support the Winter Welcome Table meal for those who might not otherwise receive a meal.
Cardinal Leo has made more than $800,000.00 available through ShareLife to help alleviate food scarcity throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto. Without this support, our own program, and many others, would be severely compromised. Thank you Cardinal Leo, ShareLife and Catholic Charities!
Please continue to support ShareLife generously so that these programs may continue to help many in our community.

There will be a meeting for all volunteers interested in assisting with the Winter Welcome Table Meal at St. Peter’s Church on Monday, October 6th, at 7 pm, in St. Peter’s parish auditorium.
This has been a joint venture between the parishes of St. Joan of Arc and St. Peter’s for many years and volunteers are much needed. All interested are welcome.
Thank You to our 2024 Winter Welcome Table Christmas Dinner Volunteers!
Thank you to all who assisted at the parish’s Winter Welcome Table Christmas Dinner. Special thanks to Cardinal Leo who attended and helped to serve the meal. As he spoke before the meal, Cardinal Leo reminded us of Christ coming into the world to love all people and of the importance of our caring for one another as Jesus has loved us. Thank to all of the volunteers who prepared and served the meal. 175 guests attended. Without this meal, many would not have enjoyed a Christmas dinner. The Winter Welcome Table meal is served every Monday between November and the end of March.

Thank you to ShareLife and Cardinal (elect) Leo for Supporting the Winter Welcome Table
The Winter Welcome Table Food Program has received a $23,000.00 grant from ShareLife and Cardinal (elect) Leo. This tremendously generous gift will allow the parish to continue its outreach to those in our community in need of a warm meal on Monday evenings. The Winter Welcome Table is a joint project with St. Joan of Arc Parish, which takes place at our facility. Thank you to Sharelife and Cardinal (elect) Leo for this gift.
ShareLife is the Archdiocesan fundraising agency that supports more than 40 different Catholic agencies in our city and abroad. Donations to ShareLife can be made through the parish at any time. At the present time, a generous donor has offered to match any gift given to ShareLife, up to $500,000, if donated before December 31, 2024. Please support ShaereLife generously.
