SUMMARY:Holy Door and Vigil to end Year of Mercy - Saturday\, November 19\, 2016
DESCRIPTION:St. Peter’s parish will host a vigil to end the Year of Mercy on Saturday\, November 19th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. This will be done with the Sisters of Life. In honour of this event\, Cardinal Collins has designated the doors of our parish as “Jubilee Doors of Mercy” for the entire weekend of November 19th and 20th. Those who pass through our doors on that weekend are eligible to receive the Jubilee Indulgence. \nThose who wish to receive the Jubilee Indulgence\, in addition to passing through the Door of mercy\, must celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation (up to eight days before or after the event)\, participate in a celebration of the Holy Eucharist\, reflect on the mercy of God\, make a profession of faith and offer a prayer for the Holy Father and his intentions.
