We will have two officers from different units of Toronto Animal Services\, come and speak to us. \nOfficer Peter\, who works on the Emergency/Mobile response team\, will speak on how to co-exist with wildlife in our city\, how to maintain your property to deter wildlife\, and what to do when you see one that is possibly sick\, injured\, or orphaned\, along with what to do when you see coyotes. \n Officer Melinda\, who works on the Enforcement team\, will be speaking to us at the end\, about the new Feeding Wildlife bylaw in Toronto along with other bylaws that Toronto Animal Services officers enforce and what to do and expect when you make a report to them.

Wonderfully talented and creative musicians\, Sebastian Ostertag and Eric Kim-Fujita will present a kaleidoscopic exploration of the season of “summer”\, with music for violin and cello. Featuring works by Antonio Vivaldi\, Astor Piazzola\, and Hans Richter\, the duo will showcase the many virtuosic and expressive influences that this season has had on composers throughout the ages. Sebastian and Eric are members of Toronto’s Interro String Quartet and perform regularly throughout the GTA and beyond. Sebastian is also Director at Sistema Toronto\, a remarkable not-for-profit organization providing ensemble-based music education to children in underserved communities.

DESCRIPTION:At this meeting\, there will be a presentation on the computer technology support services. “Connected Canadians” is a not-for-profit group dedicated to removing digital barriers by providing free technology training and support to older Canadians (50 and over) across the country. The St. Peter’s Wisdom Group would like to invite all interested parishioners to come and learn about the range of tutorials\, workshop skills and customized one-on-one mentorship offered by Connected Canadians\, and how to access these services. The presentation will take place on May 23 at 9:30 in our Parish Auditorium and will be delivered by a Connected Canadians mentor virtually through a live Zoom link. The meeting will be broadcast on the auditorium projector screen so we will be able to see him on-screen and pose any questions we may have. SUMMARY:Love Thy Neighbour – We’re more beautiful when we come together!
DESCRIPTION:St Peter’s Seniors Wisdom group will be meeting on Thursday June 6\, 2024\, starting at 10:30 am in the Church auditorium. The theme Love Thy Neighbour is back just in time for Canada Day. We thought it would be wonderful to come together\, united together as children of God\, to enjoy various ethnic dishes in a potluck style gathering. I hope to see you all there\, with your friends and family\, and a dish specific to your culture\, your country of origin\, to share with everyone.  Food is more than sustenance; it is a blessing from God that nourishes our body and brings us together. \nWe are so fortunate to have a guest speaker come and share her story of when she immigrated to Canada from Colombia at the age of 19 and found hope in her Catholic faith.  Margarita went on to eventually work as a nurse with the Sisters of St. Joseph\, at their private residence/hospital. She also led the 40 days for life campaign in Toronto\, she is also part of the Natural Family planning in Toronto\, she helps in Marriage Prep at various parishes\, part of the Charismatic Renewal at Our Lady of Guadalupe church\, and also a co-worker with the Sisters of Life\, helping to minister to the Spanish speaking women they serve.  Margarita is also a wife\, and a mother of 2 boys and 1 dog and a good friend. We also have Taichi Master Timothy back by popular demand\, who will be joining us just after Margarita’s presentation. We are looking forward to spending time with all of you\, during this time of sharing and community.  For where two or three are gathered in my name\, there am I among them~ Matthew 18:20

Div\, (Director of Mission and Ministry at the University of St. Michael’s College)\, will animate a discussion on various topics within four themes – 1. God and the Trinity; 2.
