The principal called his mother and recommended she take him to see a counsellor at Catholic Community Services of York Region, a ShareLife-funded agency. While the boy was very quiet during the frst session, he eventually revealed his sadness and confusion about his parents\u2019 divorce. As the counsellor helped Jake learn how other kids respond to a family breakup, he was relieved to fnd out his grieving was normal. Jake started to feel much better.
