As a part of the Family of Faith Campaign now taking part in the Archdiocese of Toronto, money has been set aside to help poorer parishes hire a youth minister. Our own parish has received a subsidy from the Archdiocese to hire a youth minister who can animate activities for young people in our parish. This subsidy has made possible the hiring of a long-time parishioner Ms. Alessya D’Anna as a part-time youth and young adults minister. Alessya has worked for many years as the receptionist in the Paulist Centre. She knows the parish well and has many ideas for different ways of inviting young people in the parish to feel welcome and to be a part of our community. In the coming year she will bring us many exciting projects. If you think there are ideas you would like to share with her please do so by calling the office and leaving her a message.
