St. Peter’s is looking to host an Alpha series starting on Thursday March 3, 2022 at 7:00 pm.  As the Covid cases continue to rise in Ontario, our parish is looking to host an Alpha series online. If you’re interested in joining, please let us know via email, by no later than Friday Feb 18, 2022. We can be contacted at youngadult-youthmin@stpeterstoronto.ca<\/a> <\/p>\n

Once registered you will receive the program details and access link each week. The first session will be on Thursday March 3, 2022 at 7:00pm, and will run every Thursday evening until April 7, 2022. <\/p>\n

What is Alpha?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith<\/p>\n

Who\u2019s it for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alpha is for anyone who\u2019s curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you want.<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alpha is typically 7-12 sessions with a weekend or day away in the middle. Each session includes food, a short talk and discussion where you can share your thoughts and ask questions. There\u2019s no pressure, no follow up and no charge.<\/p>\n

How much is it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019s usually no charge to attend Alpha, though some places may ask for a contribution towards food.<\/p>\n
