Living the Gospel by helping isolated seniors
In partnership with Catholic Family Service agencies and six parishes in Peel Region and Simcoe County, ShareLife is funding a pilot project that connects trained volunteers with isolated and lonely seniors. Volunteers cultivate relationships by conducting home visits, making phone calls, and linking seniors with community resources. Through your generosity, ShareLife is connecting these seniors with the support they need.
Please make a sacrificial gift to ShareLife through your parish or sharelife.org

The Parish is looking for individuals who are interested in bringing Holy Communion and visiting with people in some of the local seniors’ homes. If you would be interested in this, please consider attending a training session for visitors to senior’s homes. This workshop is intended only for parishioners of St. Peter’s Church. It will take place on Saturday, June 16 at 2 PM in the Centre in the St. Paul’s room.
You all are welcome to join the Coffee Hour on Sunday, June 24, after the 9 AM and 11:15 AM Masses in the Church Auditorium. This will be the last Coffee Sunday for this summer. See you there!!
We will have celebratory Mass for the feast day of our patron, St. Peter on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1. Please come and celebrate our Parish Feast Day.
Eucharistic Adoration in the Centre Chapel takes place from 9:00 a..m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In order for Adoration to take place, people are needed to adore the Lord while the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. Please consider signing-up to spend an hour or more with Jesus during the week. The sign-up book is available in the Centre Chapel for those who are able to sign-up. If forty people sign-up to take an hour a week, we will be able to continue this very important time for prayer before the Lord. Please consider making time for the Lord.
