Courtyard Movies – Volunteer Meeting – June 8

We are having a meeting for anyone who would like to volunteer to help with this event. Past volunteers and new volunteers are encouraged to attend this meeting. The meeting will cover volunteer logistics and next steps.

The meeting will be held on Thursday June 8th, 7:00-8pm, in the St. Peter’s Parish basement hall.

Laudato Si … eight years later: Adult Garden Retreat Day

A retreat day hosted by Sr. Gabriel Riddle, CPS in the gardens of the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood for Parishioners of St. Peter’s Parish in Toronto. The day is open to anyone who would like to learn more about Pope Francis’ major encyclical on the Care for our Common Home. We will reflect on the implementation of the encyclical over the past eight years and look at what still needs to be done.

The retreat day includes input by Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB, time for personal reflection and group discussion. Bring your own lunch for the day. Concluding Eucharistic celebration for the 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

First Friday Memorial Mass on June 2 at 7 PM

The parish will celebrate the monthly memorial Mass on First Friday, June 2, at 7:00 pm to commemorate the anniversaries of the deceased friends and family members of parishioners. This Memorial Mass on May 5 will also include the names of all deceased loved ones whose anniversaries are both in April and May. To enroll a family member for whom there is an anniversary of death, please call the parish office ahead of time during office hours.

Fr. Michael on Vacation
