Every year the parish relies on the generosity of parishioners to decorate the church with flowers. If you would like to make a donation to purchase flowers, please make your donation by using the envelope “Flowers for Christmas” marked with your name, address and envelope numbers. Thank you for your generosity

Advent confessions will take place in the Church on Saturday, December 17, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please take part in this spiritual healing as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ.

We would like to have unwrapped gifts for distribution at our December 19th Winter Welcome Table Christmas Party. Items such as socks, scarves, hats, gloves, male and female personal hygiene products would be required. Your generosity will be appreciated. Please place gifts in the boxes at the doors of the church any day before Friday, Dec. 16.

Every Christmas, our parish’s St. Vincent de Paul Society assists between 25 to 30 families. This outreach requires about $7,000.00. Due to the pandemic, the St. Vincent de Paul Society is about $4,000.00 short of the money they require for this outreach. If you are able to assist our neighbours at Christmas, there are envelopes in the bulletin this weekend for this purpose. These envelopes may be placed in any collation. Cheques should be made out to “St. Vincent de Paul- St. Peter’s.” Thank you for helping our neighbours at Christmas.

The parish is collecting clean winter coats, sweaters and winter clothing for distribution among those who attend the Winter Welcome Table for a warm meal. Toiletries and unused socks are also in great demand. Please donate in the boxes at the doors of the Church.
