The Sisters of Life are hosting a Day of Prayer and Healing for women seeking healing after abortion.  The day is an opportunity to experience the loving mercy of God and the joy of healing in Christ, in a confidential and sacred space.  It will include a witness of mercy, a Scripture reflection, personal prayer, opportunity for Sacramental Confession, and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  There is no fee for the day, lunch will be provided.

Thank you to all who helped with the Fall Fair last weekend. The event was a great success! Thank you also to all who supported the parish by attending and making purchases at the Fall Fair. Some of the monies raised ($3000.00) will go to support the parish’s Winter Welcome Table which begins serving meals this coming Monday, November 11. Thank you to all!                                                 

On November 11^th, we remember in thanksgiving those who made and who continue to make the supreme sacrifice for us in time of war. We pray that the offering of their lives may not have been in vain. Today we dedicate ourselves to the cause of justice, freedom and peace, and for the wisdom and strength to build a better world. May we keep all those who are overseas in our prayers, that they may return home safely

The “Book of Remembrance” has been placed in the church for the month of November. Parishioners may add names of deceased family members or friends for whom they wish the parish to offer prayers during this season of remembrance.

Last weekend on Saturday, October 26, 2019 four altar servers from our parish received the “Bishop’s Altar Server’s Award for Service” from the Most Reverend Robert Kasun, Auxiliary Bishop –Archdiocese of Toronto during the 34th Annual Bishop’s Altar Servers Awards Ceremony sponsored by Serra Clubs of the Archdiocese of Toronto.  We offer our sincere thanks and congratulations to:

This special recognition is given annually for the altar servers in light of their dedication, sense of responsibility and display of leadership in the performance of their duties. Our parish extends our congratulations to them and their families.
