Thank you to ShareLife and Cardinal (elect) Leo for Supporting the Winter Welcome Table

The Winter Welcome Table Food Program has received a $23,000.00 grant from ShareLife and Cardinal (elect) Leo. This tremendously generous gift will allow the parish to continue its outreach to those in our community in need of a warm meal on Monday evenings. The Winter Welcome Table is a joint project with St. Joan of Arc Parish, which takes place at our facility. Thank you to Sharelife and Cardinal (elect) Leo for this gift.

ShareLife is the Archdiocesan fundraising agency that supports more than 40 different Catholic agencies in our city and abroad. Donations to ShareLife can be made through the parish at any time. At the present time, a generous donor has offered to match any gift given to ShareLife, up to $500,000, if donated before December 31, 2024. Please support ShaereLife generously.

Taize Prayer with FCJ Sisters and Friends

“[Y]ou also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house…” (1 Peter 2:5)

Come join us for an evening of quiet Taizé prayer on Thursday, November 7 from 7.30 – 8.30pm in Church, as we remember those who have gone before us and pray for the synodal process in our Church.

All Souls Day – November 2, 2024 & praying for Our Beloved dead in November

In the month of November it is our tradition to pray for our beloved. The parish will have a “Book of Remembrance” for the faithful departed and the names of all those family members written in it will be remembered at all masses throughout November. Parishioners may add names of deceased family members or friends for whom they wish the parish to offer prayers during this season of remembrance. On November 2, All Souls day the parish will have Masse for All Souls at 12 noon. The parish has invited the families of those who have had a death this year to the 12 noon Mass.

Please note that the Mass on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 5:00 PM is a Sunday Mass.

Winter clothing for Winter Welcome Table

The parish is collecting CLEAN winter coats, sweaters and winter clothing for distribution among those who attend the Winter Welcome Table for a warm meal. Toiletries and unused socks are also in great demand. Please donate in the boxes at the doors of the Church. Please wash any used clothing before donating. Thank you for your understanding in this regard!
