sharelifesmallLiving the Gospel locally and around the world

“It is important that we continue to support the ShareLife appeal, to provide for the needs of the marginalized both here in our communities and around the world. Sometimes the results are obvious and sometimes they’re invisible, but always they make a tangible diference in the lives of the people we are helping. Please prayerfully consider how you can be supportive today on ShareLife Sunday.” —Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto.

Today is ShareLife Sunday. Thank you for your generosity.

sharelifesmallLiving the Gospel by supporting ShareLife

How do we “Live the Gospel” toward others when our daily lives are so busy? For some it’s volunteering at a soup kitchen, or it may be caring for an elderly relative. If we do not have the time to actively participate, we can support the many ShareLife-funded agencies within our community that bring the hands of Christ to those in need. Next Sunday is the frst ShareLife collection. Over the next week, refect on your ability to help “Live the Gospel” through Catholic agencies, and make a decision to support our ShareLife parish campaign.

Next Sunday, March 18 is ShareLife Sunday.  Please give generously.

sharelifesmallLiving the Gospel by providing for homeless youth

On any given night, 6,000 people across Canada between 16 and 24 have nowhere to call home. This represents 20 per cent of the total homeless population. The ShareLife-supported Rights of Passage program at Covenant House has been active in making a positive difference in the lives of homeless youth on the streets of Toronto. The program matches adolescents with mentors, who help them build life skills. By supporting ShareLife, you’re helping at-risk youth prepare for life on their own.

March 18 is ShareLife Sunday.

Please give generously.
