There will be no Memorial Mass in the month of March as the last Friday of the month falls on Good Friday.

Kindly note that on Tuesday, March 27, Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 AM in the Centre Chapel rather than the normal time as Fr. Michael will be attending the Chrism Mass at 11:00 AM held at St. Michael’s Cathedral on that day.

The Sisters of Life will be hosting “The Source” here in our Church on Thursday, March  22 at 7:00 PM. You are invited to come for an evening of Eucharistic Adoration (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM) followed by Christian fellowship (Social at 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM). Confession will also be available during Adoration.

Living the Gospel by supporting ShareLife

How do we “Live the Gospel” toward others when our daily lives are so busy? For some it’s volunteering at a soup kitchen, or it may be caring for an elderly relative. If we do not have the time to actively participate, we can support the many ShareLife-funded agencies within our community that bring the hands of Christ to those in need. Next Sunday is the frst ShareLife collection. Over the next week, refect on your ability to help “Live the Gospel” through Catholic agencies, and make a decision to support our ShareLife parish campaign.

Next Sunday, March 18 is ShareLife Sunday.  Please give generously.

Next weekend, March 11, is the beginning of Daylight Savings Time. We ask you to please remember to set your clocks, watches, and other time keeping devices ahead one hour next Saturday evening before retiring for the evening so that you will arrive on time for Sunday Mass.

 A six (6) week bereavement ministry support group will be starting at St. Peter’s (Ministry Centre) starting on Thursday, March 15 – April 19 , 2018 from 2:30 – 4:30 pm. If you or someone you know is dealing with the loss of a loved one and would like to join this group, please register at the parish office (416-534-4219)

You all are welcome to attend “The women’s liturgical choir” from the University of Notre Dame that will take place on Monday, March 12, at 7:30pm in the Church.

Saturday, March 17 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM. There will be several priests hearing Confessions.

Good Friday, March 30,  after 3:00 PM service commemorating the Passion of our Lord till 6:00 PM

Private reconciliation every Saturday from 3:45 – 4:30 PM

Living the Gospel by providing for homeless youth

On any given night, 6,000 people across Canada between 16 and 24 have nowhere to call home. This represents 20 per cent of the total homeless population. The ShareLife-supported Rights of Passage program at Covenant House has been active in making a positive difference in the lives of homeless youth on the streets of Toronto. The program matches adolescents with mentors, who help them build life skills. By supporting ShareLife, you’re helping at-risk youth prepare for life on their own.

March 18 is ShareLife Sunday.
