As part of Marriage Sunday 2018 celebrations, Cardinal Thomas Collins will preside at a special Mass to honour couples celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2018. If you (or a couple you know) are celebrating a 25th, 40th, 50th or 60th+ wedding anniversary this year, they are invited to join in this special celebration. The Mass will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 11 at Blessed Trinity Parish (3220 Bayview Ave – North York). A reception will follow Mass. All are welcome to attend – couples celebrating milestone anniversaries are asked to register online to ensure reserved seating. World Day for Consecrated Life
On Friday, February 2, the Church celebrates the World Day for Consecrated Life.
In the Archdiocese of Toronto we are blessed to have living and serving among us more than 900 religious men and women of 100 different religious congregations. This World Day for Consecrated Life is a wonderful opportunity for us to thank God for the gifts of these religious sisters, brothers and priests and to pray for God’s blessing upon them in their efforts to faithfully live the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity and obedience.
Bishop Wayne Kirkpatrick will preside at a special Mass on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Basilica, 83 Power St., Toronto in celebration of the vocation and witness of these special men and women religious who are such a vital and important part of the life and ministry of the Church in our Archdiocese. All are welcome to attend.
The Source – Sisters of Life
The Sisters of Life will be hosting “The Source” here in our Church on Thursday, January 25 at 7:00 PM. You are invited to come for an evening of Eucharistic Adoration (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM) followed by Christian fellowship (Social at 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM). Confession will also be available during Adoration.
Course on Gospel of St. Mark
Mark’s Gospel is used for most Sundays of this year, and becoming more familiar with this Gospel helps us in our life of discipleship and spiritual growth. It is also a great preparation for Holy Week and Easter. A short course will be offered by Sr. Helen Cameron, IBVM, on Monday afternoons, beginning Monday, February 5th at 1:30 p.m. Registration is necessary. Please call the parish office at 416-534-4219
St. Bruno/St. Raymond Catholic School – JK Registration 2018-2019
Registration for Junior Kindergarten (September 2018) at St. Bruno/St. Raymond Catholic School will begin on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Parents/guardians are asked to apply on-line using the “Student On-line Admission and Registration” platform known as S.O.A.R. and found at the following link: http://soar.tcdsb.org
An extended registration session will also take place on Wednesday, January 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As part of the registration process, a meeting will be scheduled on the electronic application or in person at the school. During the meeting the following original documentation is required for your child during registration:
Baptismal Certificate, Birth Certificate and/or Passport, Immunization Record, Proof of Residence within school catchment boundary, Immigration papers if not born in Canada, and Application for Direction of School support. Registration will NOT be deemed complete until all necessary documentation is on file with the school.

World Day of Migrants and Refugees – Sunday, January 14, 2018
The theme announced by His Holiness Pope Francis for the 2018 World Day of Migrants and Refugees is “Welcoming, Protecting, Promoting and Integrating Migrants and Refugees.” In his message, Pope Francis reminds us that “every stranger who knocks at our door is an opportunity for an encounter with Jesus Christ, who identifies with the welcomed and rejected strangers of every age.…”
~A special Mass commemorating the 104th World Day of Migrants and Refugees will be celebrated on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Chaldean Catholic Cathedral, located at 2 High Meadow Place in North York. Bishop Kirkpatrick will be the homilist for this liturgy. A reception will follow with a number of dignitaries in attendance. All are welcome to attend!

No Monthly Memorial Mass in December 2017
Due to the various celebrations during the Christmas Season, we will not have a Memorial Mass in December. The Memorial Mass on January 26, 2018 at 7:00 PM. in the church will include the names of all deceased loved ones whose anniversaries fall both in December and January.
