New Beginnings – Bereavement Ministry Support Group

A five (5) week bereavement ministry support group will be starting at St. Peter’s rectory offices starting on Tuesday, November 12 to December 10 from 1:30 -3:30p.m. If you or someone you know is dealing with the loss of a loved one and would like to join this group, please register at the parish office (416-534-4219) Group facilitator: Sr. Gabriel M. Knitting Circle –Wednesdays from 1:30 – 3:00 pm

For Beginners, experienced and those interested in learning to knit or crochet.

Please join us beginning November 6 on every Wednesday for an afternoon of coffee to nit scarves and hats for the homeless who attend the Winter Welcome Table. This will take place in the Parish Rectory. For more information, please contact Maria 647-568-0223.

All Souls Day – November 2 & praying for Our Beloved dead in November

In the month of November it is our tradition to pray for our beloved. The parish will have a “Book of Remembrance” for the faithful departed and the names of all those family members written in it will be remembered at all masses throughout November. Parishioners may add names of deceased family members or friends for whom they wish the parish to offer prayers during this season of remembrance. On November 2, All Souls day the parish will have Mass for All Souls at 12 Noon in the Church. The regular Sunday vigil Mass would be at 5 PM

Winter Welcome Table Orientation Meeting

Winter welcome table is returning……the program to feed the homeless and marginalized of the inner city..primarily in the annex area….will start again on November 11. All interested volunteers are asked to attend an Orientation meeting on Tuesday, October 29, at 7:00 PM in the auditorium of St. Peter’s church (door under archway entry).  

World Mission Sunday October 20, 2019

There will be a second collection next week for the Evangelization of the Nations, otherwise known as World Mission Sunday. This is a worldwide collection for the missionary church and it is our opportunity to assist at-need Catholic communities globally.. We are called to share from our abundance.
