The Mature Adults Group will be having a cheese and cracker social to continue to work to organize for future events.
This will take place in the parish auditorium on Wednesday, July 31st from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please bring your ideas, favorite cheese and some crackers to share.

I know a few priests who during the summer months make a point of giving very short homilies. Today, I would like to give a short homily, but I do so not to speak for a shorter period of time, but rather so that I can also give you a brief update about a few significant changes that will take place at the end of the summer. The Parable of the Good Samaritan is perhaps one of the most famous parables in the bible. For most people, when they hear this parable, they hear it as a story about what they are called to do for their neighbour. The parish will host a speaker from “Aide to the Church in need” on Wednesday, July 31st at 7:00 p in St. Paul’s room in the Centre. Filipe Bezerra will speak to us about Christians who are persecuted around the world. This will be an important chance to learn about the situation of our Christian brothers and sisters around the world. Please mark your calendars!
