The live Christmas trees will be on sale beginning the weekend of Dec.1-2 until December 24, the same company as in years past will be selling Christmas trees on the Markham Street lot of our church. Please consider getting your tree (or trees) from them. You would be helping St. Peter’s operating budget by purchasing your live trees from our Markham Street lot. There are many beautiful trees available and your purchase of a Christmas tree helps to financially support the Winter Welcome table’s outreach efforts. The lot will be open every day from 10 AM to 8 PM.
2018 Christmas Ornaments
Christmas Ornaments are available at the back of the Church to help the people of the Winter Welcome Table. 2018 Christmas week sign-up sheet for Eucharistic Ministers

The signup sheets for Eucharistic Ministers is now available in the Sacristy. The deadline for the sign-up will be the weekend of December 8-9. New schedule for the Christmas week will be available in the sacristy the weekend of December 15-16.
Three Great Loves: God, Self & Others
Presented by: Paulist Father Frank Desiderio, CSP; Missionary Preacher, Movie Producer, Preaching Professor, Pastor, Poet.
The Three Great Loves – Take some time to cultivate love in your life. Based on the Great Commandment, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength… You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” Fr. Frank Desiderio, CSP, uses a multi-media presentation to explore how we can love God, receive God’s love and extend that love to others, including ourselves. Join us Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night from Dec. 10 to 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the church. Fr. Frank is a member of the Paulist Fathers, an order which ministered at St. Peter’s for over 100 years. His presentation is organized by the St. Peter’s Paulist Associates, a lay group which meets monthly for faith sharing and to pray for the Paulist’s missionary work in North America.
Advent Cheer, Bazaar and Bake Sale! December 1-2, 2018
Join us for Advent Bazaar and Bake Sale on Saturday, December 1 from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 2 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Church Auditorium. Come celebrate this wonderful time of the year in fellowship and cheer.
Rehearsal for Christmas Pageant – Sunday, Dec. 2, 9, 16 & 23, 2018
Calling all young aspiring actors and actresses (ages 4 to 12)! If you would like to be part of the parish’s Christmas Pageant, please attend a rehearsal after the 11:15 AM Mass on Sunday, December 2, 9, 16 and 23 in the Church. This year the Christmas Pageant will take place immediately before the parish’s 5:00 PM Christmas Eve Family Mass (December 24th).

The Source – Sisters of Life
The Sisters of Life will be hosting “The Source” in our Church on Thursday, November 29 at 7:00 PM. You are invited to come for an evening of Eucharistic Adoration (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM) followed by Christian fellowship (Social at 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM in the Church Auditorium). Confession will also be available during Adoration.
New 2019 Sunday Missals Now Available
The 2018-2019 Sunday Missal for the new liturgical year which begins with the First Sunday of Advent on December 2, may be obtained at the Parish Centre. Cost is $6.00
2019 Mass Intentions
St. Peter’s Parish is now accepting 2019 Mass Intentions for parish weekday Masses (Monday-Friday) and weekend Masses.
Offering: For announced date $20 per Mass and for Unannounced date $10 per Mass. An unannounced Mass intention may be sent to priests outside the parish to be celebrated in the near future. Due to the large number of requests for Masses, the parish has been given permission to celebrate Mass with multiple intentions every Thursday at the 12:10 pm Mass. As this is something which requires special permission from the Bishop, the parish cannot accept multiple intentions on other days.
