May the Lord Come In, He is King of Glory!
The Bible starts and ends with two beautiful stories about God’s communion with the human person. At the beginning of the Bible, in the Book of Genesis, there is a beautiful story about the creation of the world and the manner in which humanity lived in communion with God in the Garden of Eden. At this time, the human person is described as almost being at one with God as God walks in their midst and humans fear nothing in God’s presence. They enjoy intimate communion together . The Bible ends with the beautiful image of Heaven which is presented in the Book of Revelation. Again, here, redeemed humanity is presented as living in communion with God for all eternity at the Heavenly banquet. Those who are admitted to this banquet, will praise God with his saints and angels and know His love for all eternity. Some, who have been admitted to the Heavenly banquet, have gained their admission through their perseverance and conviction that God is with them in their trails and difficulties of life. Christmas Mass Schedule 2016
December 2016 Memorial Mass
Due to the various celebrations during the Christmas Season, we will not have a Memorial Mass in December. The Memorial Mass on January 27, 2017 at 7:00 PM. in the church will include the names of all deceased loved ones whose anniversaries fall both in December and January.

Christmas Posada Celebration at St. Peter’s!
The Young Families Group will be hosting its first Christmas Posada at St. Peter’s. A Posada is a traditional Mexican Advent celebration symbolizing Mary and Joseph’s pilgrimage as they enter Bethlehem, in search for a place to stay where Jesus could be born. Come join us on Sunday, December 18th after 11:15 AM Mass at the Parish Hall to enjoy a typical Posada procession, Christmas carols, Mexican treats, and breaking a piñata!! Volunteer families are needed to participate as villagers for the procession. For more information, please call Diana and Pablo at 416-303-5207, or look for them at the end of 6 PM Mass on Sundays.
Christmas Ornaments
Christmas ornaments are available at the back of the Church to help the people of the winter welcome table. Instructions for the ornaments are on the reverse side…donations are accepted until Dec.18. Every year the parish relies on the generosity of parishioners to decorate the church with flowers. If you would like to make a donation to purchase flowers, please make your donation by using the envelope “Flowers For Christmas ” marked with your name, address and envelope numbers. Thank you for your generosity.
