St. Peter’s Parish is now accepting 2023 Mass Intentions for all Masses. Weekdays, Monday to Friday at 8 am and weekends, Saturday 5 pm, Sunday 9 am and 11:15 pm.
The parish has been given permission to celebrate Mass with multiple intentions every Thursday at the 8 am Mass. As this is something which requires special permission from the Bishop, the parish cannot accept multiple intentions on other days.
The monthly First Friday Memorial Mass, commemorating the anniversaries of the deceased friends and family members of parishioners, will be celebrated on Friday, November 4th at 7 pm. If you would like to include the name of someone who’s date of passing occurred during this month, please call the parish office during office hours- 416-534-4219. Since arrangements must be made ahead of time for a candle to be lit for each person being remembered, it will not be possible to add names during the Mass.
Winter Welcome table is returning the program to feed the homeless and marginalized of the inner city primarily in the annex area will start again on Mondays beginning November 7. Thank YOU to the volunteers and staff who worked so hard to make the Fall Fair such a great success. Thank YOU also to the many who donated to the Fall Fair, both food and items for sale. The many who visited and purchased the Fall Fair were also greatly appreciated.
On Tuesday, November 1, All Saints day, Masses will be celebrated at 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Over the weekend of October 22nd and 23rd there will be a second collection today for the Evangelization of the Nations, otherwise known as World Mission Sunday. This is a worldwide collection for the missionary church and it is our opportunity to assist at-need Catholic communities globally. Offerings are combined with offerings from other Catholics around the world and distributed to missions and dioceses. We are called to share from our abundance with those less fortunate who lack the basic essentials to know, love and praise God. Thank you for your support of this important work.
