Statement on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II
With all Canadians, the parishioners of St. Peter’s Parish mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II, we thank God for her years of faithful service, and we pray that the Lord will grant her eternal rest. May she rest in peace.
Statement from Cardinal Thomas Collins on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II
“The Archdiocese of Toronto joins so many throughout our country and the world who are mourning the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. For 70 years, she served with dignity and grace. May her kind and faith-filled witness be fondly remembered as we pray for the repose of her soul and for all those who grieve this profound loss.”
