2022 Offertory Envelopes
Offering Envelopes for 2022 are available at the back of the church along with the Pre-Authorized Giving Plan Form (PAG). Instructions are on the form. The boxed sets are organized alphabetically. Please make sure to pick up only the box with your name on it. Please practice social distancing and sanitize your hands before reaching for your envelopes and kindly refrain from touching boxes belonging to others.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE 2022 ENVELOPES UNTIL THE NEW YEAR BEGINS
“Book of Remembrance”
The “Book of Remembrance” has been placed in the church for the month of November. Parishioners may add names of deceased family members or friends for whom they wish the parish to offer prayers during this season of remembrance
New 2021-2022 Sunday Missals Now Available!
The 2021-2022 Sunday Missal for the new liturgical year which begins with the First Sunday of Advent on November 28, may be obtained at the Parish office. Cost is $7.00
Meeting Christ at the End of Time by Doing God’s Will Today
For those of you who are as old as I am, it can be hard to believe that it has been more than twenty years since we began the new millennium. Given the expectations that awaited the change of millennium in 1999, it is actually amazing how well things have gone—with the exception of COVID 19. At the end of the 1990’s, there were all sorts of scenarios about how the world was going to end when the clock struck midnight and the new millennium came in. Not too surprisingly, there are many historical accounts which tell of the same kind of hysteria at the time of the millennia change in the year 999. One of the biggest concerns in 1999 was a fear that all computers were going to shut down because they had not been programmed in order to take into account the new dating for the years 2000 and after. As we approached midnight on December 31, 1999, many were waiting to see if chaos and total collapse of all computer networks was going to be the great tragedy of the new millennium. Continue reading

Remembrance Day – November 11, 2021
On November 11th, we remember in thanksgiving those who made and who continue to make the supreme sacrifice for us in time of war. We pray that the offering of their lives may not have been in vain. Today we dedicate ourselves to the cause of justice, freedom and peace, and for the wisdom and strength to build a better world. May we keep all those who are overseas in our prayers, that they may return home safely
Come & See – Day Retreat – November 20, 2021
The Office of Vocations will host a Come & See – Day Retreat for men 18 years and older, at St. Augustine’s Seminary on Saturday, November 20 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This day retreat offers men a way to discern a possible call to priesthood at our seminary.
