‘Love until it hurts’ by Sr Bernice MC

Have you ever wondered what it was like to know Mother Teresa, to work closely with Mother Teresa?!…Sr Bernice from the Missionaries of Charity, who did just that, will be coming to St Peter’s on April 26 from 9:30am-11:30am in the auditorium.

Come and listen to her testimony, her experience of working with Mother Teresa and the poorest of the poor people, in various parts of the world; who is now currently serving our very own community here in Toronto.

Jesus the Bridegroom: The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

“I will espouse you to me forever: I will espouse you in right and in justice, in love and in mercy” (Hosea 2:19). What does it mean to say that Jesus is the Bridegroom of the Church? On Tuesday, April 23 at 7 pm in the auditorium, join Dr. Christina Labriola for a presentation on scripture scholar Brant Pitre’s book Jesus the Bridegroom, exploring the divine love story revealed in the Bible and God’s passionate, unconditional, and intimate love for us.

Sunday Breakfast hosted by Parish Seniors group of wisdom

All are welcome this Sunday April 21, after both 9:00am Mass and 11:15am Mass in the auditorium for a ‘Love thy Neighbor’ themed breakfast hosted by St Peter’s (seniors) group of Wisdom.

Come and enjoy a $5 breakfast , coffee and other treats, along with our direct neighbors, the Sisters of Life and our local neighborhood police officers.
All proceeds go to our parish, St Peter’s.
