The St. Peter’s Group of Wisdom would like to invite all interested parishioners to join us at our next meeting on Thursday, February 15th at 9:30am in the Parish Auditorium. We are very fortunate to have a guest instructor coming in to lead us in an introduction to tai chi practice. Tai chi is a gentle, low-impact form of mind-body practice which can have beneficial effects on both mental and physical health.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the practice of this ancient martial art, and to discover how it might be helpful in our daily lives by reducing stress, promoting strength, balance and co-ordination, and supporting our overall wellbeing. Do join us in your most comfortable clothes and shoes!
The 40 days of Lent are a special time of spiritual renewal in the Church. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 14. The parish will have two Masses on Ash Wednesday with the distribution of Ashes. These will be at 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM in the Church. During Lent the Stations of the Cross will be prayed Friday evenings in the Church after 7:00 PM Mass.
