We are having a meeting for anyone who would like to volunteer to help with this event. Past volunteers and new volunteers are encouraged to attend this meeting. The meeting will cover volunteer logistics and next steps. The meeting will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 1 pm, in the St. Peter’s Centre, located at 830 Bathurst Street- boardroom: St. Paul classroom.

If you are unable to attend and would like to volunteer feel free to contact myself via email or phone to be added to the list or to set up a meeting to talk. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible to make this event a success.

Separated…Divorced? If you are struggling… you don’t have to do this alone. New Beginnings is a ministry dedicated to assisting those who have suffered a loss through separation and divorce.  Our support groups provide a safe and non-judgmental environment.  Together… we explore our grief, experience healing and move towards empowerment.   This will be held on Saturdays at St. Peter’s Ministry Centre beginning Saturday, May 5 until Saturday, June 9 from 2-4 pm. Please call the parish office at 416-534-4219 to register.

Third Sunday of Easter; April 15, 2018

Living the Gospel by helping those with addictions

Scarred by an abusive childhood, Andrew became addicted to hard drugs as an early teen. His next 20 years were spent in-and-out of jail and the hospital. He finally came to St. Michael’s Homes, a ShareLife-funded agency that offers a residential program for those struggling with substance abuse. Now sober and equipped with coping skills, Andrew is happy and building a new life. By supporting ShareLife, you’re helping people like Andrew get their lives back on track.

Next Sunday, April 22 is ShareLife Sunday.  Please give generously.

Summer Mass Schedule

During the summer, our Parish Mass attendance often decreases by 25 percent. This decrease can be seen most evidently at the 6:00 pm Sunday Mass for students, as many students return home for the summer. For this reason , during the summer holiday for University students, the parish will not have a 6:00 pm Mass.

Beginning Sunday, May 20th until Sunday, September 2, there will be no 6:00 pm Sunday Mass.

The last 6:00 pm Mass for this spring will be Sunday, May 13 and the first 6:00 pm Mass of the next school year will be Sunday, September 9th. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Second Sunday of Easter; April 8, 2018

Living the Gospel through immediate mental health services

Mental health problems can escalate if not addressed quickly. That’s why the five Catholic Family Services agencies in the Archdiocese of Toronto now offer walk-in counselling. This initiative can often meet clients’ need without requiring longer term counselling. Clients report a clinically significant increase in confidence that they can tackle their problems. By supporting ShareLife, you’re helping restore hope to those in crisis.

April 22 is the next ShareLife Sunday. Please give generously.
