Winter Welcome Table News

WWTWinter welcome table is returning……the program to feed the homeless and marginalized of the inner city..primarily in the annex area….will start again on November 6. All interested volunteers are asked to attend an Orientation meeting on Wednesday, October 25, at 7:00 PM in the auditorium of St. Peter’s church (door under archway entry).

Central region celebration of 175th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Toronto

You are invited to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Toronto with His Eminence Cardinal Thomas Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, and His Excellency Bishop Robert Kasun to commemorate this historic milestone in our central region.

This invitation is open to all Central region parishes, to join us at Mass and a reception – so we can together celebrate the 175 years of faith, fellowship and prayer!

Celebration for the Central region:

St. Peter’s Young Adults- Pub Night!! October 22, 2017

pubnight3Are you in the Toronto area?  Are you curious about the St. Peter’s Young Adults Group or just plain thirsty? If so, you’re invited to join the St. Peter’s Young Adult Group for our monthly pub nights scheduled for every fourth Sunday of the month! Our next pub night is scheduled for Sunday, October 22, 2017, following the 6 pm mass.

If interested in attending please meet at the back of St. Peter’s Church (near the doors going out to 840 Bathurst St), following 6 pm mass or meet us at Paupers Pub, located at 539 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M5S 1Y5.

St. Michael’s College School

The Office of Admissions of St. Michael’s College School is now considering applications for September 2018. St. Michael’s College School is the only independent Catholic school for boys from Grade 7 to Grade 12.  Open Houses for interested parents and their sons will be held on Thursday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 24 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Location: St. Michael’s College School, 1515 Bathurst Street (at St. Clair Avenue West).

While St. Michael’s is an independent school, we offer financial aid to qualified students.

Rosary Making

SilverRosaryThe Legion of Mary will be holding a “Rosary Making Workshop” on Saturday, October 21, at 10 AM – 2 PM at the Centre in the St. Paul’s room. Materials will be provided. Everyone is invited. Come with your friends.

Reflection series on Psalms

psalmsA five (5) week program on the PSALMS will start again on Thursday, Oct. 12 in the St. Paul’s room at the Centre from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. facilitated by Sr. Gabriel Riddle cps. Everyone welcome! Please bring your Bibles.
