St. Peter’s Young Adults- Pub Night!! October 22, 2017

pubnight3Are you in the Toronto area?  Are you curious about the St. Peter’s Young Adults Group or just plain thirsty? If so, you’re invited to join the St. Peter’s Young Adult Group for our monthly pub nights scheduled for every fourth Sunday of the month! Our next pub night is scheduled for Sunday, October 22, 2017, following the 6 pm mass.

If interested in attending please meet at the back of St. Peter’s Church (near the doors going out to 840 Bathurst St), following 6 pm mass or meet us at Paupers Pub, located at 539 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M5S 1Y5.

St. Michael’s College School

The Office of Admissions of St. Michael’s College School is now considering applications for September 2018. St. Michael’s College School is the only independent Catholic school for boys from Grade 7 to Grade 12.  Open Houses for interested parents and their sons will be held on Thursday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 24 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Location: St. Michael’s College School, 1515 Bathurst Street (at St. Clair Avenue West).

While St. Michael’s is an independent school, we offer financial aid to qualified students.

Rosary Making

Reflection series on Psalms

Fall Fair Volunteers

Community pinned on noticeboardThe Fall Fair Committee is calling all volunteers who would like to help on Saturday and Sunday’s Fall Fair event, to please come to St. Peter’s church auditorium at 7pm, on Friday October 13th for a final logistics meeting and set-up assistance.

2018 Mass Intentions

St. Peter’s Parish is now accepting 2018 Mass Intentions for parish weekday Masses (Monday-Friday) and weekend Masses.

Offering: For announced date $20 per Mass and for Unannounced date $10 per Mass. An unannounced Mass intention may be sent to priests outside the parish to be celebrated in the near future. Due to the large number of requests for Masses, the parish has been given permission to celebrate Mass with multiple intentions every Thursday at the 12:10 pm Mass. As this is something which requires special permission from the Bishop, the parish cannot accept multiple intentions on other days.

Blessing of Pets – Feast of St. Francis of Assisi

In honour of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi on October 4, the parish will celebrate the blessing of pets on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at 6:30 pm outside the main doors of the Church. All pets and owners are welcome. Due to large number of animals, all pets must be leashed, caged or held in owners’ control.
